EDUCATIONAL/QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors’ degree in Dietetics and/or Food and Nutrition.

Registration with the Commission for Dietetic Registration required.

Must be licensed in the state of North Carolina.

Knowledge of menu approval is required. Must have at least 2 year’s experience in approving multiple diet menus.

Services will be performed according to company standards and may include:

·         Review and approve therapeutic diet menus.

·         The number of therapeutic diets may vary from two to sixteen.

·         Menus will be supplied in a digital format.

·         Provide all approved menus in a timely manner (deadline will be given).

·         Provides weekly report of hours in a timely manner.

·         At all times maintains a professional image and works in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the company in mind.

Registered Dietitian

Location:  High Point/Greensboro, NC

Registered Dietitian needed to provide nutrition and weight counseling services in a public pediatric health clinic serving Guilford County, NC.  The position is for our Take Charge Weight Initiative which is a program to help, children, teens, and families who want to make healthy changes to their lifestyle.  Through individual counseling sessions the RD will help the families to set goals, and encouraged behavior change.  As a member of the team the RD will be expected to collaborate with other members of the medical and ancillary staff to assist patients in achieving favorable results. 

Registered Dietitian should also be comfortable treating pediatric patients using medical nutrition therapy, for such medical conditions as Failure to Thrive, underweight, genetic syndromes, diabetes, food allergies, and gastrointestinal issues. 

Ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience, preferably with children and families in the Public Health population, currently licensed in the state of North Carolina or eligible and Spanish language skills.
